DC Men’s Pure Shoe Review

[Music] what is going on guys you're watching ninja lifestyle and today we are reviewing the DC pure first let's take a look at the damage this shoe endured stitching held up all the way around you can see a little bit of wear and tear but there's no flaps of fabric flipping around tread on the bottom is fine and these shoes lasted me about four and a half months and if I wanted to I could probably get another two or three weeks out of these shoes there's nothing wrong with the strength or the feel of the shoe the issue is that they fucking stink really bad my feet sweat I wear these shoes for everything I do when I skate when I'm out when I'm in and eventually my feet they're just gonna destroy anything I put next to them lace protectors held up well I always tell you guys my least favorite thing to do while maintaining shoes is having to change laces all the time which is part of the reason I always skate ultra thick laces but the lace protector did its job not even a fray on these laces and these are the same laces I put in these shoes when I first tried them on in August this pad on the toe held up great as you guys can see I've worn it down quite a bit on this side but the top part of the toe has retained its shape which is going to be important for keeping your flip tricks consistent what you don't want is this to get worn down and then your shoe looks like that overall I don't have a single complaint about this shoe but as always we are going to compare it to my number one shoe the SOG Excel pros and cons for one this shoe has the lace protector and the og Excel does not you suck but if you look at the padding this shoe has plenty of padding but nowhere near the amount of moon boot capabilities as the og Excel you're basically skating in a pillow surrounded by marshmallows trapped in a trampoline bounce house when you're skating these the problem is these are swayed whereas this is something other than swayed this gets dirty extremely fast compared to this at the end of the day the OGS Excel has a lot of features that the DC pure lacks but the DC pure also has some pretty good things going for it that the og excel lacks that being said I give these shoes a tie and if I can't find the og excel it's getting pretty hard to find these shoes in all white then at least I have a close second place in the DC period or wait not even second place they're tied for first this one's just more available for now if you guys have any experience with the DC pure let me know how it went for you guys in a comment below and if you guys have any other all white shoe suggestions for me let me know hey I always try to keep an open mind and I'm always down to try something new DC pier 10 out of 10 in my book 100% great skate shoe for any skill level I hope you guys enjoyed this video and I'll see you guys in the future kuna Matata bitches [Music] [Music]

hello I'm Matt guff from house comm and this is a DC pure skate shoe it's a low-cut shoe designed to be ridden for a really long time most gay cheers of course have really low volume these days but this one seems to be the most sleek higher volume style skate shoe that DC has to offer does have a true style fit both in length and in width and it does have a stiffer style appeal directly underneath your foot and that's because of the wrap style cuffs all in addition to that it was going to be the upper now this upper it's kind of a combination of a few different things there's kind of like a wrap style canvas there's suede and then textured style leather and then like the additional laminates kind of throughout the shoe because it gives them a more tough appeal its abrasion resistant and there's triple stitching kind of throughout especially by that foxing toe box another thing that you guys should know about the pure is that with the additional that kind of like pieces to it sometimes they tend to get a little bit warm and that's why DC get a perforated the top section of a toe box and added in these metal kind of events on the side now there's tons of padding on the pure the collar of course has lots of padding with a mesh style backing the same thing as a tongue it's super wide ultra thick and it does have a little like lace not so you can keep the tongue centered down the middle of your foot now another thing that a lot of people kind of miss out on is actually the Achilles cut out there's a key least notch for additional comfort this is a nice looking chew of course and it's gonna skeet well but will again take a little bit of time to break in because of this style cup sole now the sole is actually pretty unique because it's part of the dynamic grip technology series meaning that there's three different durometer ratings on the sole a harder section in the heel for kind of abrasion resistance a mid section for flex and of course a softer section in that toe box area to help you grip and flick your board it does have a very shallow pill DC style trend that everyone kind of comes to know as DC's tread of choice in size' Evie a die cut footbed can't take it out but it's just basically one thickness there a little bit arch support but not too much there's really not a heal cradle on it there's nice little eyelets a nice little hints all over I dig the colorway of this pure this is gray black of course the oxblood red you can check it out at the house calm

hey everyone what's up this is Kevin coming at you with a quick review here on my new shoe I got its by DC it's called the pure SE thanks for checking out this video it's an unboxing of some shoes and a shirt I got from DC Shoes the first I'm just gonna break the top seal here yeah here's the packing slip and my shirt now this shirt is a double XL and then finally is a box for the shoes let's go ahead and take that out and very nice quality high performance skateboarding shoe right here now this shoes a little bulkier than most shoes like it usually I get thinner shoes and these shoes that have a nice vulcanized sole to them they're going to be great for heavy impacts this dynamic grip technology so they're calling that this pill pattern here at dynamic grip technology we have this nice metal emblem right here and obviously the laces size 15 hard to find I got it on sale super cheap 30 bucks reason I got it cuz I need some foot protection I've been wearing then shoes like this from etnies the Scout and you can see how torn up this thing is I've only skated it probably a handful times and the dang thing fell apart of me so I need to get something with some rigidity to it something that's gonna last me I'm hoping this shoes gonna fill the bill I'm gonna go to a skate park go film some tricks and we'll see how well it works [Music] [Music] so after my real-world test of beef shoes I probably want to buy them again just because they are so thick there's still a heavy they're so bulky it's really hard to fill my board but at the same time there's great protection they're really durable and for that reason maybe you won't want to buy them me personally I like the arrow shoes by fans I like any thin sole shoes the only problem with those types of shoes is usually the materials are made out of a canvas material they rip really easy these shoes they're made up out of some kind of it's like a leather like material and they seem to just not wear out which is really good if you need long lasting shoes but if you're going for board fill these are not the shoes to get also in addition to the shoes I got this shirt which is really nice it's comfortable it's a long sleeve it fits me well even though I'm a tall guy so make sure guys that you subscribe like and comment below let me know what kind of videos you want to see next and I'll check you next time on the violin list see ya [Music]
